Fourteen months ago I left my home in Madison, Wisconsin, for what will probably end up being a five-year epic journey around the entire globe, until I finally pedal back to where I started.

I have refused to take airplanes, and indeed motorized vehicles of any kind, and am travelling slowly and deliberately, seeing the world at a natural pace.

I have pedalled over mountains and through blizzards. Rejecting the
oil-and-convenience culture of Western society, I embarked on a transAtlantic sailing voyage in April as part of the crew, finally landing in Cornwall after two months at sea.

I am now in the Republic of Ireland, cyclng through the worsening winter, on my way to see Northern Ireland en route to the Continent.
I am looking for someone that might be able to take me across the sea to Scotland, preferrably landing near or in Glasgow. I realize it's getting cold out there, but there must be some sailors that are as "crazy" as me.

If anyone is willing to sail with me, I would be very appreciative. Even if you could point me in the right direction to connect with someone.
